These comprise 95 percent or more of the total. Minor elements include manganese, iron and sulfur compounds, and trace quantities of several others.
 
Physical Properties
The physical characteristics - weight, size of particles, structural properties, etc. - vary according to the type of slag processed. Accordingly, end-use recommendation for each type differ.
